Manufactured from high-purity tungsten or tungsten alloy, the electrode features an ultra-sharp needle tip that enables surgeons to perform fine, precise tissue dissection at very low power settings.

Tungsten’s exceptional physical properties make it the ideal material for surgical electrodes. With a melting point exceeding 3400°C—far higher than the temperatures generated during electrosurgery—the tungsten tip maintains its sharpness and structural integrity throughout the entire procedure, never dulling or deforming even under repeated use. The material also offers high hardness (Mohs hardness 7.5), excellent wear resistance, and low tissue adhesion, ensuring smooth and consistent cutting performance.

The electrode features a standard design where insulation extends to within 3 mm of the electrode tip, with only the bare tungsten needle tip exposed.
