Description Of Tungsten Alloy Dart
Tungsten Alloy Dart is a high-performance dart barrel manufactured from tungsten heavy alloy (W-Ni-Fe or W-Ni-Cu) with a tungsten content typically ranging from 80% to 97%. The high density of tungsten alloy (up to 18.5 g/cm³) allows the dart barrel to be made much slimmer than traditional brass or nickel-silver darts while maintaining the same weight. This slim profile reduces deflection and allows for tighter groupings, making tungsten darts the preferred choice for professional dart players.
The manufacturing process involves mixing high-purity tungsten powder with nickel, iron, or copper binders, pressing into shape, sintering at high temperatures, and then precision machining to achieve the final dimensions, weight, and grip pattern. Tungsten alloy darts offer excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability, ensuring consistent performance over time.
Available in various weights (typically 12g to 40g), shapes (straight barrel, torpedo, bomb, etc.), and grip styles (knurled, ringed, shark fin, etc.), tungsten alloy darts can be customized to meet individual player preferences. They are suitable for both soft tip and steel tip dartboards.
Features Of Tungsten Alloy Dart
High Density and Slim Profile: Tungsten content of 80%–97% provides density up to 18.5 g/cm³, allowing for a much slimmer barrel than brass or nickel-silver darts at the same weight.
Excellent Weight Consistency: Precision machining and weight matching ensure each dart is within ±0.1g (standard) or ±0.05g (high precision) of the specified weight.
Superior Durability: Tungsten alloy offers excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, maintaining its appearance and performance over years of use.
Reduced Deflection: The slim profile minimizes contact with previously thrown darts, reducing deflection and allowing for tighter groupings.
Multiple Grip Styles: Available with knurled, ringed, shark fin, pixel, and other grip patterns to suit different throwing styles and preferences.
Customizable: Custom weights, shapes, grip patterns, coatings, and engravings are available upon request. OEM & ODM services welcomed.
