These round bars are the primary substrate material for manufacturing solid carbide cutting tools, wear parts, punches, and precision components.
The manufacturing process begins with high-purity tungsten carbide powder (100% virgin raw material) mixed with cobalt binder, followed by ball milling, pressing into rod blanks, high-temperature vacuum sintering, and HIP densification to achieve uniform microstructure and near-theoretical density. The sintered rods then undergo precision grinding, lapping, and polishing to achieve tight dimensional tolerances and smooth surface finishes.
